From accessorising his New York Fashion Week runway collection with Forevermark diamonds, to collaboratively designing the beautiful Forevermark Artemis™ collection, Indian Fashion Designer Bibhu Mohapatra explores the meaning behind the diamonds in his designs.
Bibhu Mohapatra’s love for expert craftsmanship was born from a childhood on the East Coast of India, where he gained an appreciation for the beauty of Indian fabrics and their vibrant colours. Though based in New York, this initial exposure to textiles and garment construction in India still inspires Mohapatra’s designs and permeates throughout the collections of his namesake label.
His creations have been featured in many international fashion magazines including York Magazine, Time, Forbes, Wall Street Journal and Marie Claire.
Forevermark is proud to have worked with Bibhu Mohapatra to unveil his first ever collection of fine jewellery: The Forevermark Artemis™ Collection. Inspired by the brilliance of the sun, and the etherealness of the Universe, the Forevermark Artemis™ collection celebrates the notion of an individual’s spiritual journey. Mohapatra puts people at the heart of all his designs, creating pieces to mark a person’s story and to “be a part of their life as they embark on their own journeys”. The Forevermark diamonds in his designs are a symbol of love that lasts forever.
