A Diamond for the Diamond Jubilee

What better way to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee than with a very special diamond? And where better to house it than the Tower of London, home to the British Crown Jewels.
A unique, fancy pink-brown colour, 35.60 carat cushion cut Forevermark diamond went on display in the Martin Tower, next to the Jewel House, on 31st May. Like all Forevermark diamonds, the Steinmetz Forevermark Jubilee Pink Diamond features a unique inscription number on the table. For this very special date, however, the diamond has been given a bespoke number, 19522012, to mark the year the Queen came to the throne, 1952, and the 60th year of her reign, 2012.

The experts at Steinmetz Diamonds took six months to perfect the cut of the diamond, crafting the beautiful cushion cut from the original 179.96 carat rough diamond.
